Ways to work with us

Pick the scope you need, not the one we prefer to sell.

Most Chicago clients start in one of three places. Tell us which sounds like you and we will price only that.

Full program

We own it end to end: objective and concept, design, venue and permitting, fabrication, staffing, onsite production, content, and the post-program report.

Best if

You have a date and a budget and no internal team to run it.

Brief a full program

Production only

Your team owns the creative. We handle vendors, build, permits, crew, run of show, and onsite management so the idea actually lands.

Best if

You have the concept but need Chicago execution you can trust.

Get production support

Strategy and concept only

A paid working engagement: objective, audience, creative territory, experience design, venue direction, and a budget framework you can hand to any producer.

Best if

You want the thinking and the plan, and will execute in house.

Why Eterna in Chicago

Brand-side thinking, agency-grade production.

Built for the seasons

Chicago compresses a year of outdoor programming into five months and moves everything indoors for winter. We plan footprints, weather contingencies, and calendars around that reality.

Client-side judgment

Our founder ran global brand programs at PepsiCo before starting Eterna. We scope like the people who used to sign the invoice.

Production that holds

Permits, vendors, crew, load-in windows, and rehearsals - handled before show day, not improvised during it.

Multi-market ready

Start in Chicago, then roll the same idea cleanly through Denver, New York, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Buenos Aires.

What's included

Everything a Chicago activation needs, under one scope.

Take the whole program or the parts you're missing - we'll plug into your team where it helps most.

How we work

A four-step process, from brief to reporting.

  1. 01

    Brief & business objective

We start with the number you get measured on - trial, awareness, pipeline, retention - and pressure-test the brief before any creative work begins.

  2. 02

    Concept & creative direction

A single clear idea for the Chicago market, with spatial design, narrative, talent, and content built into it from the start rather than bolted on later.

  3. 03

    Scope, budget & timeline

A costed production plan: venue and permitting path, fabrication, crew, run-of-show, and the measurement framework we'll report against.

  4. 04

    Production & build

Vendor management, fabrication oversight, load-in, staffing and training, and onsite direction through show days and strike.

  5. 05

    Amplification & reporting

Content capture, press and creator distribution, then a post-program report against the metrics agreed in step three.

Share the date, the neighborhood or property, and the rough budget range. You get a concept direction and a costed production plan, at no charge.

What clients say

Built for the numbers, not just the room.

They took the time to understand our business goals before anyone talked creative - so the experience was built to move the numbers we actually get measured on.

Questions

Working with us in Chicago.

What does an experiential marketing agency in Chicago actually do?
We take a brand objective and turn it into a live experience people can walk into: concept, spatial design, venue and permitting, fabrication, staffing, onsite production, and the content and press plan that carries it further. In practice that means pop-ups, festival and sports activations, product launches, and executive events across the Chicago market.
Do you have a Chicago presence?
Yes - we meet by appointment downtown and in the West Loop, and we produce across River North, Fulton Market, Wicker Park, and the lakefront venues. We also work from Denver, Dallas, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Buenos Aires, so a program that starts in Chicago can extend to other markets with the same team.
What does a brand activation in Chicago cost?
It depends on footprint, build complexity, venue, run length, and staffing. Rather than quote a range that doesn't apply to your brief, we scope the concept and the production plan together and come back with a costed direction before anything is promised.
How far in advance should we start planning?
For a pop-up or launch, six to twelve weeks is comfortable. Chicago's summer is compressed - festival season, lakefront programming, and patio months all land between May and September - so venues and permits for that window book a quarter or two ahead. Tighter turnarounds are possible - tell us the date and we'll tell you honestly what's achievable.
Can you handle permits, venues, and staffing, or only the creative?
Both. We can run the whole program end to end - concept through build, permitting, crew, and strike - or plug into an existing team on the parts you need, such as talent curation, production management, or content capture.
Which Chicago neighborhoods and venues do you work in?
Fulton Market and the West Loop for build-friendly warehouse activations, River North and the Loop for premium retail and brand spaces, Wicker Park and Logan Square for culture-led pop-ups, and Grant Park, Navy Pier, and the stadium districts for festival and sports programs.
How do you measure whether the activation worked?
We agree the metrics before we build: footfall and dwell, trial and sampling counts, earned content and coverage, and pipeline signals like scans, leads, and conversions. Reporting is part of the scope, not an afterthought.

Start a Chicago program

Got a launch, a pop-up, or a festival moment in Chicago?

Tell us the date, the neighborhood or property, and the budget range. We'll come back with a concept direction and a production plan that fits.

  1. 01

    You send the brief

Date, market or venue, budget range, and what the program has to achieve. Rough numbers are fine.

  2. 02

We reply in one business day

A short read on the program, what we would do differently, and a 30 minute call if it looks like a fit.

  3. 03

    You get a costed plan

Concept direction, venue and permitting path, and a production plan with a budget. Nothing is committed until you approve it.
