Create 'Progresando Juntos' - a first-ever PepsiCo Walmart Adelante Latine Talent Summit celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with inspiration, growth, and connectivity for Latine talent across both organizations.
Challenge
Hispanic Heritage Month programming usually lives inside one company's walls. The brief was different: build the first-ever PepsiCo Walmart Adelante Latine Talent Summit that connected Latine talent across both companies during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 27-29, 2023, in Northwest Arkansas.
Approach
- 01Programmed the summit around purpose, performance, and PepsiCo Positive, with keynote speakers from both PepsiCo and Walmart
- 02Featured a main-stage conversation with Walmart's Sustainability SVP Jane Ewing on roots, sustainability journeys, and a shared vision for a sustainable and inclusive future
- 03Brought together Latam and HBU colleagues, Adelante ERG talent, and the Walmart team in one room
- 04Delivered the event as a joint cross-company effort across both organizations' teams
